Each host country is allowed to choose one partner country, whose National Team will be included in its group, without a draw. The Cyprus Basketball Federation and the Organizing Committee have already chosen the Greek National Team, with the Hellenic Basketball Federation having accepted the proposal. So, if Greece qualifies for the tournament, they will indeed come to Cyprus in 2025 with all their stars, to compete in the EuroBasket!

It is important to note that Greece needs one more win in their next four games to qualify, after their two wins in the first two games of the Qualifiers, against Czechia (home) and Netherlands (away). In November 2024 Greece will play Great Britain away and home and in February Czechia (away) and Netherlands (home).
